A Letter from Greweng Beach

This written has been published at FIBER's magazine or called FRONTPAGE. I just repost in my blog and add some sentences.hehehe...

To refresh our mind prior to the final exams, 13 members of FIBER visited Greweng Beach on June 7th and 8th 2014. Although this activity was part of FIBER’s monthly agenda, many of us could not come because they didn’t get their parent’s consent, some others had conflicting schedules on their class, and there are some kids who fell ill. We fully understand why it was hard to get their parent’s permission, because the distance to Greweng beach is actually quite far. It took 3,5 hours by motorcycle, and we still have to walk for another half an hour to reach the location.

We departed from FIB on 2 PM and arrived at the location around 6.30 PM. The sky had already turned purplish orange and the beauty of Greweng Beach stunned us for a while. Although fairly exhausted, we spent our evening to play together under the bright moonlight.

We played ball and had so much fun. In addition, we also conducted survical training. We explored Greweng Beach in order to find wood to make bonfire. But it needs long time to make the fire flaming up. The night sky was very beautiful as thousands of stars accompanied our night. The milky way was clear in the sky. No words could actually describe what we saw that night.

We had dinner together while playing guita. After a tiring day, we retreated to our makeshift bed. The boys slept outside the tent as thet wanted to spend their time chatting under the sky stunned night.

The morning came quickly, we went to a hill near the beach. From those hill, we could looked up very beautiful landscape. The ocean was in front of us, the sunrise had already came, and we could only enjoy this serene morning.

After that, we went back to the beach. Some kids choosed to plop down in the water. We played the ball. I kicked the ball to the wave like Hyuga, and then waited the ball came back pushed by the wave. :D . In those morning, I saw the dugong taking a bath in the seashore. The morning came quickly and after taking a few commemorative photos we came back home. Glad and satisfied.

In the memory of an unforgettable event,
Bagus
